Embossable & Write-On Decals

Choose How You Will Add Information

Emboss an Impression or Write on the Surface?

Start with the marking method your staff will use. Embossable aluminum records pressure from a ballpoint pen. Write-on aluminum and write-on white vinyl do not emboss; they provide a surface for written records alongside your printed information.

Start with These 4 × 2 Inch Aluminum Labels

Embossable Aluminum Labels

Use pressure from a ballpoint pen to leave an impression. Standard embossable material does not readily show pen ink. Ask about extra-cost Ink Receptive Clear if you also need a matte, ink-receptive finish.

Write-On Aluminum Labels

Use a Sharpie marker for handwritten dates or records. This material does not emboss; choose the embossable version when you need a pressure impression.

Customize Write-On Labels

Prefer a nonmetallic label? Explore write-on white vinyl. It has an ink-receptive surface and does not emboss. Contact us to confirm suitability for your pen or marker and intended surface.
